TYLER CONRON has been drumming since he was a wee lad.  First introduced to orchestral and latin percussion instruments at age 10, Tyler gravitated to anything that could be hit with his hands or feet to make a sound, quickly straying from the path beyond Grade 6 RCM Piano.   Tyler currently performs with:

Styles

Drumming has taken Tyler across Canada to various festivals, charity events, concerts and performances.  With a passion for hard rock and metal and their more progressive elements, Tyler blends Jazz, Funk, Country, and Latin grooves to create something truly unique for any genre.

Education

Tyler has an education in Electrical Engineering Technology with a focus on Controls.  He has more than 10 years of Project Management and Business Development experience in the highly technical field of robotics automation. Combining programming and hardware knowledge with the ability to ideate, iterate, and influence engineering solutions, Tyler is able to creatively tackle any problem and apply the engineering methodologies to drive meaningful solutions.

Studio

The Ship, located near Dundas, ON Canada, is a 270 sq. ft. acoustically-treated studio.  Equipped with custom lighting, cameras, and all of the mics and mixers necessary to create high-quality audio and video productions, The Ship is an ideal environment for a tight drum sound or vocal recording.  The studio is equipped with the following gear:

  • Presonus Mixers and Stage Box​es, up to 32ch

  • Shure SM57 Instrument Mics

  • Telefunken M80 Snare Mic

  • Rode NT-1 Matched Overheads

  • Sennheiser e604 Tom Mics

  • SE X1R Ribbon Mic (voice and room)

  • 2 x Static HD Webcams

  • 1 x PTZ 4K Webcam

  • Presonus Studio One DAW
